The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Westside Coalition is a nonprofit organization comprised of a diverse group of volunteers in partnership with the City of Santa Monica, Santa Monica College, Santa Monica Associates, SGI-USA, RAND, City TV, and others whose mission is to promote the ideals of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. including unity, equality, and justice for all people.
The organization seeks to inspire the community to continue its work through an annual celebration on the National Holiday honoring the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This commemorative event features inspirational speakers, educational awards, music, an Involvement Fair, and food, all of which are free to the public.
