DESCRIPTION:LGBTQ Elders are invited to celebrate Pride Month in West Hollywood with poetry\, games\, and prizes.\n\n\nWe celebrate Pride with LGBTQ Elders. You’re invited to share your stories that get transformed into souvenirs of custom poems with LGBTQ poets from Pride Poets. Join us for games and prizes! If you participate in Seniors programming\, remember Woodstock and disco queens\, or proud of your grey hairs\, you’re in good company! We’re calling this Artifacts + Retro Vibes\, so if you want to come dressed in your vintage vibes or bring memorabilia to share about your stories\, please feel encouraged but it’s not required. Come be social and celebrated! \nPlease choose one of 2 dates (please note 2 different West Hollywood locations): \nTues June 13th 5pm-7pm at the Community Meeting Room (adjacent to WeHo Library) \nWed June 28th 12pm-2pm at Fiesta Hall (Plummer Park) \nFood + refreshments will be served. Everyone attending gets a gift bag. \nGifts and prizes donated by: Friends of the West Hollywood Library\, Junior Cookies\, Hair by Fabian\, Amy Smith Art\, Atelier Zo\,  and more TBA.  \nSpecial thanks to our community partners and sponsors including: West Hollywood Library\, LA LGBT Center\, WEHO Pride (City of West Hollywood) \nEvent is Free for attendees who consider themselves LGBTQ older adults\, seniors\, aged 50+\, or elders. \nAdvanced RSVP requested for Priority Tix for limited seating. Drop-ins welcomed if space is available.
