Gloria Molina Grand Park (Est. 2012) is a dynamic and expansive public space nestled in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. This 12-acre urban oasis serves as a central gathering point for the city’s residents and visitors.
This park is named after Gloria Molina, a former Los Angeles County Supervisor who played a critical role in the development of the park. The park covers 12 acres up the east side of Bunker Hill and is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike.
Grand Park’s design offers a harmonious blend of green spaces, pathways, and interactive features, creating a welcoming environment for people of all ages and backgrounds. The park features amenities such as:
Gloria Molina Grand Park has four distinct areas featuring amenities ranging from the restored historic Arthur J. Will Memorial Fountain with a wade-able membrane pool,
a small intimate performance lawn, a community terrace planted with drought-tolerant specimen plants representing the diverse cultural make-up of Los Angeles itself, and a grand event lawn.
Gloria Molina Grand Park allows for a strong visual and physical connection from Grand Avenue via a series of stairs, accessible ramps, and sloped walks as well as elevators to invite more pedestrians into a vibrant garden environment, a place to come together in a welcoming and distinctly urban oasis.
