DESCRIPTION:Join us for an in-person outdoor piñata making workshop that celebrates the return of our monthly crafting nights.\n\n\nMaker Night: Piñata Making Party with Piñata Design Studio\nThursday\, January 6 | 5:00 – 7:00 pm | In-person\, museum courtyard  \n$12 | Free for Members  | Includes materials\, drinks\, and snacks \nJoin us for a fun piñata making party to celebrate the return of our in-person outdoor crafting nights! Our longtime friends\, Piñata Design Studio will be guiding us through a fun an easy piñata making workshop where participants will learn all the basics needed for you make your very own smashing hit. Learn about the history of piñata making\, the value of passing down crafting histories\, and the piñatas long legacy in Mexican and indigenous celebrations\, including the holiday celebrations known as Posadas.  \nAdvanced RSVP is required.  This workshop has limited capacity\, we advise participants to arrive early to secure a spot in the workshop. Payment is due upon arrival. \nMasks and proof of vaccination\, or negative COVID-19 test results are required to participate in this program.  \nEffective November 4\, 2021\, in accordance with the most recent Los Angeles city mandates\, Craft Contemporary will require that all visitors age 12 and older show proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours prior to visit.
