You only need one once you begin competing. The standard blade that comes with your purchase should be fine for the time being. \n  \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSTEP 4 – LEARN BASIC MOVES AND CONCEPTS\nWe have tons of free information available for Lightspeed Saber fencing. But if you’re practicing alone\, you may want to learn our sequences. This is a growing library of technical exercises that help you fine tune your technique without a partner. You can do this on your own and evaluate yourself\, or you can enroll in our program\, where we’ll evaluate you to make sure you’re doing everything right. DESCRIPTION:OPEN EVERYDAY- Griffith Park\nThe Old LA Zoo\, or The Griffith Park Zoo\, opened in 1912 and closed in 1966 with the opening of the new\, Los Angeles Zoo. The abandoned site of the Griffith Park Zoo\, complete with the ruins of animal enclosures\, is now a picnic area and hiking trail in Griffith Park. \n  \n \nThe Old LA Zoo opened in 1912 with a grand total of only 15 animals. Bears\, Lions\, Monkeys\, Macaw’s\, Elephants\, Reptiles\, Goats\, and Turtles now lived in the zoo\, which was built on the original site of Griffith J. Griffith‘s defunct ostrich farm. \n  \n \nAs Los Angeles grew\, the small Griffith Park Zoo was increasingly criticized as an “inadequate\, ugly\, poorly designed despite drawing more than 2 million visitors a year.  \nIn 1958\, the city decided to create a brand new zoo\, and the Griffith Park Zoo closed in August 1966. Its animals were transferred to the new Los Angeles Zoo 2 miles away\, which opened a few months later. \n  \n \nThe animal enclosures\, with the bars removed\, were left as ruins and remain today. A large picnic area was added\, and NOW every summer\, the zoo is the location for the Independent Shakespeare Company’s  Free “Shakespeare in the Park” performances. \nThe Old Zoo is located on Griffith Park Dr. Only 2 miles from today’s LA Zoo\,   \n  \n \nUpon arriving\, you will see a small parking lot. Follow the path Up the hill to reach the abandoned enclosure.  \nUpon arriving\, you will enter many of the original Grotto’s. Yes\, even when it comes down to the interior of a small and unassuming drinkery in the middle of Chinatown\, it truly is what’s on the inside that counts. Melody Lounge\, located off of N Hill Street\, right off the 110\, and within walking distance of Dodger Stadium\, invites you in with a modest\, yet charming exterior. A quiet entryway welcomes you through the door into a low-key hideaway ridden with an array of superb cocktails and a collection of craft beers that will make your head spin. \n \nOnce you enter Melody Lounge\, you will find yourself within a cozy nook illuminated by red lanterns\, giving off an alluring crimson hue to the place. A vinyl record is usually spinning\, playing just loud enough to not have to yell over while you’re chatting with your bartender. With typically\, a moderately laid-back atmosphere\, on rowdier nights like Sundays when they feature karaoke from 9:30 to close\, the room fills up quickly and the good times roll. \n \nReaching its five-year anniversary in March\, Melody Lounge started solely as a craft beer bar and received its full liquor license just over one year ago\, allowing them to accumulate quite the range of spirits to coincide with its diverse gallery of craft brews. \n“We still have a big focus on craft beer\, which is where our roots are\, but we just wanted to take the next step\, upgrade\, and tailor a cocktail menu\,” says general manager Eric Bouvet. “We do all 32 classics at any given time\, and we also have a small list of signature cocktails. We try to keep it simple\, offer good cocktails.” \n \nMelody Lounge and its multiple sister bars including The Short Stop in Echo Park and Footsies in Cypress Park\, typically fall under the same theme of slight preservation. DESCRIPTION:LIVE EVERY MONDAY NIGHT @ 7:30- Los Angeles\n\n\n\nThe Oaks Comedy Show\, a free weekly comedy show in Sherman Oaks\, CA featuring comedians from the comedy store\, the laugh factory and more.\n\n\nKARAOKE IS BACK EVERY NIGHT OF THE WEEK!\n\n\nMondays- The Oaks Comedy Show  7:30-9:30PM\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe bring the best acts from up and coming talent to established comedians who have released comedy specials on the top comedy outlets\, while curating talent that will be featured in those same spotlights. With special guest regularly making appearances\, you never know who will stop by.  karaoke  10pm-1:45am \n\n\nTuesday- The Oaks Acoustic and Open Mic Singer/ Songwriter\n\n \nTo get booked for a set 7:30-8:30pm shoot Joey a message on IG @bluemusicj \nIf you are a singer/ songwriter and want to bring your own guitar and sing your own stuff\, you can sign up to sing 8:30-9:30pm! We just require a one drink minimum to sing. \nAfter OA Tuesdays we have… karaoke  10pm-1:45am \n  \nWednesday- King Trivia/ Karaoke with Kirk!\n \nJoin us every Wednesday for Team Trivia with King Trivia! \nEvery week\, teams of 2-6 people compete to prove they are the smartest\, or at least they have to most random information in their memory banks.  Not only do you get bragging rights\, but first place gets a $30 gift certificate\, second place gets a $20 gift certificate\, and if we have 5 or more teams we also give out third place!  Even if you aren’t so good at the trivia stuff (I suck at Trivia Crack)\, it’s fun to join in! Bring your friends who are smarter than you\, because you’re allowed to have up to 6 people on your trivia team-that’s why team trivia is better than solo trivia.  We don’t give points for creative answers\, but sometimes you’ll get free glassware and swag just for being the funniest.  Our host is Rebekah Fear stay late to hear her sing some badass karaoke. \nTeam Trivia starts at 7:30pm\, so don’t stop home after work\, come straight to the bar to get here before 7pm to take advantage of our happy hour specials!  We serve pizza\, tacos\, burritos & quesadillas\, so no need to drive through on your way here\, but if you’re craving a burger or sushi\, that’s ok too.  We allow outside food as long as its none of the food mentioned above.  It is a one DRINK per person minimum to participate in our team trivia- if you’re sober\, that’s okay\, we have soda\, juice\, non alcoholic beer and delicious cold-pressed coffee from Modern Times Brewery! \n  \n \nWhen team trivia is over around 10pm\, we have Emily Kirk getting you Kirked all night long with her amazing pipes on karaoke. \nEmily is a musician and comedian and hosts events all over town and now she is at The Oaks on Wednesday\, & Thursday nights hosting karaoke for you! Well… Trivia is so busy on Wednesday\, we added a second night of team trivia on Sunday!  So if you are looking for something to do in the Valley on a Sunday night\, look no further. Sunday night team trivia is so much fun! Start off your Sunday night or end your Sunday Funday here.    It’s fun\, with just enough random questions to give it the right amount of challenge.  Teams play for $30\, $20\, and $10 bar tabs\, plus give aways between rounds.  Don’t miss out!  Sunday night Karaoke starts right afterward so you can sing your little heart out.
