SUMMARY:The Roost: COMEDY EVERY TUESDAY
DESCRIPTION:EVERY TUESDAY- Los Feliz\n\n\n\n\n\nStand-up comedy showcase every Tuesday at The Roost in Los Feliz hosted by LA comedian Geoffrey Feldman. Featuring comics that have appeared on JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE\, FALLON\, NETFLIX\, & LOCAL CLUBS LIKE THE COMEDY STORE\, THE LAUGH FACTORY. As well as local emerging talent!! \n\n\n\n\n\nOPEN MIC TO FOLLOW THE SHOW (STARTS AROUND 10:30 PM ON TUESDAYS) FREE SHOW! PLENTY OF FREE PARKING! THE BAR IS CASH ONLY! CHILL ASS NEIGHBORHOOD! CIGARETTE STORE ACROSS THE STREET! \n\n \n3100 Los Feliz Blvd\, Los Angeles\, CA 90039 \n  \n \nThe Roost has changed hands many times\, and attempts to peg down an actual opening date have been unsuccessful\, but the bar once had a wigwam on its roof and was called\, fittingly\, the Wigwam. This was likely in the 1950s or ‘60s\, according to one bartender. It was also formerly known as Donna’s Red Carpet and Robin’s Roost. The notoriously heartbroken late singer-songwriter Elliott Smith used to frequent the bar\, which makes sense because to this day after a given hour (around 10 p.m.) the craggy\, old regulars are replaced with a consciously disheveled crowd of musicians and artists. \n \nPlaces like the Roost are quickly becoming extinct in Los Angeles. The counterculture lifestyle as defined by the modern hipster is morphing into the mainstream\, as is its habit of appropriating places\, fashions and art once considered marginal by the masses. One day someone will buy the Roost and turn it into a fancy simulacrum of itself and you’ll be sad that you didn’t know it back when. \n \nMixed drinks are strong and cheap here\, and something in the air at the Roost (maybe the smell of popcorn mixed with a legacy of stale smoke) makes a simple gin and tonic or vodka soda taste like the stuff of gods. Don’t be afraid to order from the well. Yeah\, it’s gut-rot level stuff\, but this is where you drink from the lowest shelf — and like it. \n\nHours\nOpen Daily: 12:00 pm – 2:00 am\nHappy Hour: 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm DAILY\n\nFor additional information\, visit the website @ \nwww.eventbrite.com/e/tuesdays-free-stand-up-comedy\nFind more

Text or call (661)9931612 for more information about reservations and private party booking. \n\n\nMeet the ladies \n\nCamila Perry\n\nMy first job was at Islands Restaurant in Encino\, when I was 16 years old. I started as a “floor host” which meant I bussed tables\, then moved up to food runner\, and finally\, server. I loved everything about it\, except taking out the trash. I was there for 5 years\, then The Cheesecake Factory for another 5 years\, where I learned how to tend bar. It was during that time that I graduated from CSUN with my BS in Business. After ten years in the service industry\, I was over it\, I quit! I vowed never to go back. I burned my white uniform and danced around its ashes. I got a “real job” and like so many others before me\, I couldn’t stand it. The hours\, the inflexibility…I found myself bartending again a few years later\, which eventually led me to tend at a little bar called Off Kilt\, which is the bar you now know as The Oaks Tavern. \nMy way into the bar-owning business was not typical. I was a bartender\, then I got offered a partnership if I could dig the bar out of its financial hole. That’s a big jump from bartender to owner. I didn’t realize what I was getting myself into. I cleaned the crap out of the place\, brought on new staff\, brought in craft beer\, upgraded the alcohol selection and got a popcorn machine. I tried new things like live bands\, game nights and karaoke. I made sure it didn’t smell like a “bar.” A lot of things didn’t work\, but a few did. The bar didn’t make money for a while. It was really tough\, I had a second job doing bottle service on the weekends and then I worked as many shifts at The Oaks as I could\, to save labor. It was literally a lot of blood\, sweat\, and tears\, the first few years. I almost gave up a few times. Luckily\, I had good friends who talked me out of it. Every time I threatened to run away\, they wouldn’t let me. Then little by little\, it started getting busy. I was able to quit my second job. I had to hire more staff. Three years ago I was able to stop bartending!  Flash forward another to 2019 and I was able to buy The Parlour Room with two of my bartenders and friends- Jenny and Teri\, who you will read about below.  It’s exciting and terrifying all at the same time. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJenny Prehiem\n\nI’m a California native\, born and raised in the Santa Clarita Valley. My dad believed in having a strong work ethic and taught me that I had to work hard for what I wanted. He was the kind of guy\, that when I called him because by car broke down on railroad tracks\, he’d say “well you better get out and push\, girl!” (Not kidding\, that really happened).  My first job was working at a paintball field on the weekends when I was only fifteen years old. I despised it\, but it taught me that working for your paycheck isn’t as easy or as glamorous as you think when you’re a kid. Things got better from there and at sixteen I landed my first restaurant job at BJ’s Brewery as a hostess.  I spent high school working my way up through hostess\, delivery driver and expeditor until I turned 18 and became a restaurant server. The BJ’s crew was like a family to me\, we did everything together. I worked for them for five years where I learned much about running a full service restaurant and bar from a corporate standpoint. That job supported me through college and  I was heartbroken when I had to leave my store when I moved to Thousand Oaks. Since then I have had multiple families at different restaurant and bars where I’ve worn many different hats; bartender\, event coordinator\, social media marketing and manager. I’ve done fine dining at fancy country clubs\, and served fishbowls at dive bars. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTerri Cortines\n\nMy first job was at McDonalds when I was 16\, it wasn’t a great job but it taught me work ethic and corporate mentality. Then at 21 I was a “dessert girl” at Victoria Station\, Universal City\, where I would break the  bartender\, which is when I found a curiosity and love for bartending. Life changed directions for a while and I was the owner/operator of  a trucking company for Airborne Express/DHL for 20 years. With my partner Lisa Hite\, we started the business with 5 trucks and built it to 50 trucks and 60 employees! After DHL let go of all their contractors across the United States\, Lisa and I ran a freight forwarding company for a few years until I realized I needed a change. I wanted to do something fun\, so I returned to my first love which was bartending. I am presently bartending at The Oaks Tavern and Universal Bar & Grill where I also work as an entertainment booker.\nAfter eight years behind the bar\, about to have an empty nest\, with my twin girls going off to college\, I find myself in a position to invest in my own bar. It’s exciting to be able to secure a future for myself and my children.  Owning my own bar and running my own business again is a dream come true! \n\n\n\nHappy Hour\nHappy Hour is EVERY DAY with 20% off EVERYTHING.\nMonday-Thursday ALL DAY!\nFriday-Saturday 5-8pm\nSundays-2-8pm\nOpen Monday-Thursday 7pm-2am\nFriday- Saturday 6pm-2am\nSunday 2pm-2am \n\n  \nFor additional information\, visit the website @ \nhttps://www.northendhollywood.com/\n \n  \nFind more \n \n \n \n \n \n \n  \n  \n  \n  \n

Scientists have found that the fast-paced games increase adrenaline and dopamine in the brain which helps maintain and improve brain health.\nVR gaming increases mental flexibility and improves a child’s ability to quickly switch seamlessly between tasks with conflicting demands.\nVR games are a great way to reduce stress and depression in children. SUMMARY:FOWLER MUSEUM AT UCLA- TEMPLATE
DESCRIPTION:NOW THRU NOVEMBER 13TH- Westwood Village\, UCLA\nThe Fowler Museum at UCLA presents \n\n\nParticular Histories: Provenance Research in African Arts\n\n\n\n\nJuly 10–November 13\, 2022 \n\n\n\n\nProvenance research (an investigation of an artwork’s past ownerships) traces the movement of a given object through different cultural\, economic\, and political contexts. Particular Histories presents five provenance case studies drawn from African material dating to the early 20th century that came to the Fowler Museum from the collection of Sir Henry Wellcome (1853–1936). The exhibition highlights recent findings—made through a combination of conservation\, material science\, archival research\, and curatorial methods—that shed light on shifting perceptions of the objects’ value over time and offer some surprising revelations: from fictions concocted to assert certain works’ “authenticity” to new understanding of how some artists developed innovative designs tailored to local and foreign buyers. \nThis exhibition emerges from a three-year project\, funded by the Mellon Foundation\, which aims to unravel the histories of African works at the Fowler and begin reckoning with the legacy of European colonization and its influence on the objects’ use and perception. Multidisciplinary provenance research also lays the groundwork for building connections with communities of origin. \n\n\n\n\nParticular Histories: Provenance Research in African Arts is organized by the Fowler Museum at UCLA and curated by Carlee S. Forbes\, Mellon Curatorial Fellow. Fowler team members also engaged in this project include: Erica P. Jones\, Marci J. Burton\, Kate Anderson\, Rachel Raynor\, Gassia Armenian\, Isabella Kelly-Ramirez\, Jeanette Saunders\, Christian de Brer\, and Matthew H. Robb. The Yoruba collection alone is one of the three finest in the world. It contains a spectacular array of beaded objects\, including a majestic throne\, elaborate chiefly gowns\, and sophisticated divination regalia. \nA collection of post-apartheid election materials and contemporary South African art is being developed\, as are a number of collections of popular urban arts from countries including Tanzania and Muslim Senegal. Recently\, more than 400 textiles made by the Kuba peoples of the Democratic Republic of the Congo were gifted by the Christensen Foundation. \nThe collection represents some of the finest examples of men’s embroidered raffia pile cloths and women’s appliqué cloths. This collection complements already significant holdings of West African textiles from countries such as Mali and Ghana\, including kente and adinkra cloth and Asafo flags. The museum also has significant holdings of arts from the African Americas\, notably arts of Haitian Vodou\, Brazil and Suriname. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nARTS OF THE AMERICAS\n \nThese holdings include a comprehensive collection of pre-Columbian ceramics with the best representations from West Mexico\, the Valley of Mexico\, and pre-Columbian Peru (with special strengths in the art of the Moche). The Fowler also possesses a cohesive collection of Guatemalan costumes; an extensive collection of Mexican clothing; textiles of Peru; and a comprehensive representation of field-collected market materials from Michoacan\, Mexico. Complementing the pre-Columbian collections are field collections of the Warao and Yecuana Indians of the Orinoco Delta of Venezuela and contemporary Latin American popular arts including Mexican trees of life\, Day of the Dead figures\, and masks from Metepec\, Oaxaca\, Michoacan\, Jalisco\, Peubla\, and Guanajuato. \nNative American materials from the U.S. and Canada are a small but significant part of the collection. Materials from the United States and Canada include well-known Northwest Coast material\, as well as a notable cross section of late nineteenth-century Inuit art and material culture. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nARTS OF ASIA AND THE PACIFIC \n \n  \nThe Fowler Museum at UCLA collections from Insular Southeast Asia\, including Indonesia\, the Philippines\, Malaysia\, and aboriginal Taiwan\, are among the strongest in the United States. The Indonesian and Philippine textiles reinforce the Fowler Museum’s standing as a major repository for the textile arts. Also included are significant collections of sculptural material from Sumatra\, Borneo\, Sulawesi\, and Luzon\, puppetry from Java and Bali\, basketry from Indonesia and Philippines\, and metalwork from the Philippines. The primary strength of the Pacific collections lies in materials from Papua New Guinea\, especially the Papuan Gulf\, Trobriand Islands\, Sepik River\, and Maprik region. Australia and Polynesia are also represented by sizeable collections\, including 45 rare Maori cloaks. \nThe collections from mainland Asia are smaller but growing rapidly\, due to current collecting priorities. A collection of betel-chewing paraphernalia\, representing several countries in South and Southeast Asia\, is considered one of the finest in the world. Other holdings include textiles from Bhutan\, Pakistan\, India and Japan\, baskets and decorative arts from Japan\, puppetry from China\, Thailand\, India\, and Turkey\, and art and artifacts from Nepal. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nARCHAEOLOGICAL COLLECTIONS\n \nThe Fowler Museum at UCLA also serves as a repository for archaeological collections acquired during research conducted by UCLA faculty\, staff\, students\, and other professional archaeologists. The Museum is compliant with guidelines mandates by the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA) and has been signaled out by the State of California for its exemplary efforts. \nArchaeological collection areas include: \nCalifornia \nCollections from approximately 1100 sites\, mostly in Southern California. \nSouthwest \nSignificant collections from the Rainbow Bridge-Monument Valley Expedition of 1933-1938 and several Parowan Fremont sites in Utah excavated in the 1950’s\, and other Anasazi and Hohokam sites. \nMexico \nIncludes objects from 218 sites\, mostly in western and central Mexico. \nSudan \nThe Nubian/Egyptian fortress site at Askut is the source of approximately 60\,000 artifacts excavated by UCLA archaeologist Alexander Badawy in conjunction with the Aswan High Dam Salvage Campaign\, 1962-1964. \nOld World stone tool collection \nIncludes tools from Europe and the Middle East. \n\n\nMUSEUM HOURS\n\n\n\n\nAdmission is FREE \nMonday: closed\nTuesday: closed\nWednesday: 12 – 8pm\nThursday: 12 – 5pm\nFriday: 12 – 5pm\nSaturday: 12 – 5pm\nSunday: 12 – 5pm \n\n\n\n\n\nFor additional information\, visit the website @ \nfowler.ucla.edu\n \n\n  \nFind more

SUMMARY:Los Angeles Maritime Museum
DESCRIPTION:WEDNESDAY TO SUNDAY – San Pedro\nDiscover the history of the Port of Los Angeles on land or at sea! Welcome to the Los Angeles Maritime Museum where our hardworking harbor tug ANGELS GATE provides educational tours while our historic museum building houses fascinating exhibits\, a research library\, a ham radio station\, and a gift shop. \nOPEN EVERY WEDNESDAY TO SUNDAY FROM 12:00 pm TO 5:00 pm\nFREE TO CHILDREN AGES 12 AND UNDER\n\n\n\nBerth 84\, Foot of 6th St.\, San Pedro\, CA 90731 \nThe Los Angeles Maritime Museum is housed in the former Municipal Ferry Terminal building\, located on the main channel of the Los Angeles Harbor. It was designed in the Streamline Moderne style by architect Derwood Lydell Irvin of the Los Angeles Harbor Department. It was built in 1941 at Berth 84\, by the Works Project Administration (WPA). \nThe ferry between San Pedro and Terminal Island ceased after the Vincent Thomas Bridge was opened to traffic in 1963. The building was then used for offices of the LA Harbor Department. The San Pedro Municipal Ferry Building is now a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. \nThe Los Angeles Maritime Museum opened in 1979 as a result of widespread community efforts to save the historic building. It is the largest maritime museum on the West Coast. The museum’s interior renovation was designed by Modernist architect James Pulliam. The museum is operated by the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks. \n\nEXHIBITS\nANGELS GATE TUGBOAT\n \nThe tugboat ANGELS GATE arrived at the Museum in 1992\, after almost 50 years of providing general towing services and goodwill tours for the Port of Los Angeles. \nTĀMINARU\n \nIn the early 20th century\, Terminal Island (in the Port of Los Angeles) was home to approximately 3\,000 Japanese-Americans who earned their livelihood from catching and cleaning fish. Residents of this community\, known as “Terminal Islanders” were originally from the Wakayama Prefecture\, Japan\, and retained their language and customs after emigrating to Los Angeles harbor. \nTāminaru is a look back at this lost community. The exhibit is guest curated by author Naomi Hirahara\, organized by Tara Fansler\, and sponsored by the Friends of the Los Angeles Maritime Museum and the Japan Business Association with the assistance of the Terminal Islanders Club. \nPOSEIDON MODEL\n \nThere is a movie star on the second floor! The model of the SS POSEIDON was the original prop in the 1972 classic film “The Poseidon Adventure”. \nFifteen men built the model over a period of three months. POSEIDON is 21 .5 feet long and weighs one ton. The builders relied on the plans of the RMS QUEEN MARY\, now permanently docked as an attraction in Long Beach\, California. \nNAVY HALL\n \nThe Museum building\, built-in 1941\, was originally used as a ferry terminal\, transporting people and automobiles between San Pedro and Terminal Island. The area of the first floor where cars would enter and exit is now used as the Navy Hall. \nANGELS GATE LIGHT\n \nThe Angels Gate Lighthouse (officially known as Los Angeles Harbor Light) has marked the entrance of Los Angeles Harbor through times of war and peace\, and even survived a tidal wave! The tower itself has undergone many changes through the years. The distinctive green flash of the Angels Gate Lighthouse remains a welcoming beacon to professional mariners and recreational boaters alike. \nKIDS EXHIBIT\n \nKids of all ages will discover what’s going on in the harbor today through a series of interactive games and activities in the children’s exhibit. Grab a pair of binoculars and take a close-up look at the nation’s busiest container port! Learn how cranes work\, imagine yourself in a variety of harbor professions\, build your own wharves\, test your knowledge of ships and cargo\, or just settle down and enjoy a nautical story!\nDue to Covid-19-related precautions\, the toys and costumes have been temporarily removed. \nCAUGHT\, CANNED\, AND EATEN\n \nThe Port of Los Angeles (San Pedro) was the fishing capital of the nation for much of the twentieth century. Generations of fishermen sold catches of tuna\, sardines\, mackerel\, and squid to fish markets or canneries on nearby Terminal Island. \nToday\, the fishing fleet is greatly diminished and the canneries have closed\, but the legacy of the fishing and canning industries endures. \nCOMMERCIAL DIVING\n \n  \nThis exhibit is an introduction to just a few of the thousands of jobs performed by commercial divers and fishery divers in the South Bay\, and was the inspiration of the late Torrance R. Parker\, noted commercial diver and author of 20\,000 Jobs Under the Sea. \nSCHOOL TOURS\nThe museum is pleased to offer educational tours throughout the year at no charge. \nThe museum is located on the Main Channel of Los Angeles Harbor. Students will have a front-row opportunity to see the massive container ships in action and learn about international trade\, ship terminology\, sailor’s art\, and the history of the working people who built Los Angeles harbor into the nation’s busiest container port. \nTours are free for grades K-12\, Wednesday –Friday mornings\, and reservations are REQUIRED. The museum is unable to accommodate group tours without a reservation. \nCall the tour hotline at 310-548-2900 and schedule your tour today\, or email info@lamaritimemuseum.org. \nRESEARCH\nThe Los Angeles Maritime Museum Research Library is home to thousands of books\, historic photographs and archival documents waiting for you to discover! \nResearch questions can be directed to info@lamaritimemuseum.org and 310-548-7618 ext. 215. \nPortions of our collection have online finding aids and digital records: \nOnline Archive of California (OAC) \nOnline Digital Collections \n\nSuggested Donation:\nAdults $5\nSeniors (62+) $3\nChildren 12 & under FREE\nHours\nMonday-Tuesday: Closed\nWednesday – Sunday: 12:00pm – 5:00pm \n\nFor additional information\, visit the website @ \nwww.lamaritimemuseum.org\n \n  \nFind more \n \n \n \n \n \n \n  \n

Fueled by a love of health and fitness\, the Chief Runner brought Road Runner Sports to life in a San Diego garage. \nFrom day one\, it was a family business all about making customers feel like family. Read through to get started on your weight loss journey\, or jump to a specific section by clicking below: \nDoes Running Help You Lose Weight? What Science has to Say \nCan You Lose Belly Fat by Running? \nDo Morning Runs Help You Lose Weight? \nHow to Lose Weight Running \nWhat Equipment is Needed to Run? \nBest Type of Running for Weight Loss \nInterval Running for Weight Loss \nRunning Schedule for Weight Loss \nHow Much Weight Can You Lose if You Run Two Miles per Day? \nHealth Benefits of Running \nRunning Weight Loss Tips \nLet’s start by exploring the science of running for weight loss. \n  \nDoes Running Help You Lose Weight? What Science has to Say\nDo you want to lose fat? Let’s ditch the fad diets\, empty claims\, and bogus weight loss products. The breakdown is simple: to lose weight\, you need to sustain a calorie deficit diet. \nYou might be squirming at the “D” word\, and it’s understandable—healthy dieting is where most people struggle in their quest to lose weight. We’ll return to that subject later because\, no doubt\, which foods you’re consuming will definitely impact your results. \nFor now\, let’s focus on how running for weight loss can also help you sustain a calorie deficit—and could potentially allow you to eat more food\, so you can lose pounds without feeling like you’re starving yourself. Now that’s an idea that should make your stomach smile. \nYou need to burn more than you consume\, so you’ll need to calculate a few numbers when running for weight loss. \nResearchers say that in order to lose a pound per week\, you need to maintain a 3\,500 calorie deficit. \n\n\n\n\n\n  \nFor additional information\, visit the website @ \nwww.downtownsm.com/events-calendar\n \n  \nFind more

SUMMARY:COME LIGHT UP THE NIGHT
DESCRIPTION:EVERY WEDNESDAY NIGHT @ South Beach Park in Santa Monica.\nGlow Flow at Santa Monica’s South Beach\, is a night time event\, that turns the beach into a playground of light.  Local artists spin various lighted objects to create one of a kind moments of kinetic art. A fantastic group of artists & dancers who work with LED Hula Hoops and other LED apparatus they can spin\, toss\, throw in the air\, etc. \n\n Very friendly and talented peeps.  \n \nCelebrating our love of  the FLOW at Glow Flow Santa Monica!\n\n\n\n\nHow to Capture the Glow Flow Moment\nIf spin isn’t your thing\, how about photography. Here are different ways to shoot Glow Flow Santa Monica. \nGOLDEN HOUR / BLUE HOUR\nYou can shoot available light for images of the artists. \nSLOW SHUTTER SPEED\nAs Glow Flow gets dark\, you can use a slow shutter speed to let the moving LED devices draw amazing “spirograph” shapes with light against the night sky. \nSLOW SYNC\nYou can combine both elements with slow sync or rear sync. A long shutter speed captures traces from LED Hula Hoops and then your on-or-off-camera flash lights the artist. \nTHE BEST FLASH?\nI haven’t had the best results with built-in pop-up flash. I like using an external flash in the hot-shoe. At Glow Flow\, We often say that having flash off the hot-shoe produces better lighting. For me\, in this case\, I think there’s so much going on\, that hot-shoe mounted flash works well. You could bring a light stand and battery powered strobe which might look great but seems like a lot of gear. \nTRIPOD?\nIf you use flash\, it will freeze the artist\, and the point-light-sources of the LEDs effectively freeze themselves\, so you can shoot this handheld. However\, you will get crisper images if you use a tripod. \nBRACKET\, BRACKET\, BRACKET!\nAs you can imagine\, dialing in your exposure can be a bit complicated! Plan to try a variety of different shutter speeds to see what works with the LEDs. And different flash intensities to balance the illumination on the artist with the LED traces. \n\nSouth Beach Park\nis located at 110 Pier Ave\, on the border between Venice Beach and Santa Monica.  \n  \nFor additional information\, visit the website @ \nfacebook.com/veniceglowflow\n \n\n\n  \nFind more \n \n \n \n \n \n \n  \n

SUMMARY:Odd Squad Coffee Cruise
DESCRIPTION:EVERY WEDNESDAY at Coffee Bean Culver City\nThe Odd Squad Coffee Cruise meets every Wednesday at the Coffee Bean in Culver City and EVERYONE IS WELCOME !\nStarted in 2012 by Blake Weddington\, The Odd Squad Car Club has always been more about the people and less about the cars.  The club has no dues\, no required attendance and no car criteria other than pre-smog American cars (preferably not muscle cars).  The cars in the club range from fresh paint jobs to rusty rat rods and most are used as daily drivers. \n\nThe Odd Squad Coffee Cruise happens every Wednesday\nand then cruises to a local food spot!  If you are interested in joining the club\, we ask that you come by on Wednesdays and get to know the guys.  Our club has no attitude\, no egos and everyone is treated with respect\, so the worst that will happen is you leave with some new friends. \n\n\n\nLos Angeles is famous worldwide\, for its long love affair with the automobile. Car culture has been part of the city’s DNA for generations. From classics to custom builds and hot rods\, the automobile has always been a Southern Californian symbol of unfettered freedom. Here\, the automobile was embraced by Angelenos young and old\, rich and poor\, honest and not quite so. From the beginning\, when LA’s Sepulveda\, Sunset\, and Olympic Boulevards were the primary arteries linking beaches\, the Valley\, and downtown\, the automobile was our way to stay connected. It was never merely a matter of arriving at Point B from Point A—one had to get there in style\, whether cruising the boulevard or driving a getaway car.\n\nKeep up to date with all things Odd Squad by following them on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/oddsquadcarclub/\n\n\nOdd Squad Coffee Cruise Meets at The Coffee Bean\nBorn and brewed in Southern California since 1963\, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® has always been passionate about connecting loyal customers with carefully handcrafted products.\n\n\n\n\nFor additional information\, visit the website @ \ninstagram.com/oddsquadcarclub\n \n  \nFind more \n \n \n \n \n \n \n  \n

The artwork accepted into our monthly group shows is solely based on the quality of work rather than the artists’ exhibit and sales history.  This allows us to introduce new and under exposed talent.  Because we cater to an over 21 audience\, artists are allowed to express themselves freely without the threat of censorship.  Our outside murals will be changed out approximately every six months and our patrons will also be entertained by live painters. \n \nHaving a stage opens up the range of artistic expression even further.  In addition to the visual arts\, the stage will provide anything from performance art\, bands and DJ’s to over the top shows from burlesque to magic and beyond.  We will also host artists talks as ArtBarLA is a gathering place for the community\, innovators and free thinkers in the art world.  ArtBarLA is an open space for open minds.  This sense of openness and innovation will bring something to the art world Los Angeles has yet to experience. \nArtBarLA is a delight to the senses\,\nnot limited to sight and sound\, but taste as well.  We have partnered with local breweries to provide fine artisan craft beers which can be consumed straight from the tap or bottle or enjoyed in a tasty beer cocktail.  All beverages will be savored in our unique setting.  Guests can sit back and relax in our whimsical bar and lounge area.  Every piece of eclectic furniture has been carefully curated to provide a fun\, playful experience. \nFollow us on Instagram and Facebook: @artbarla or contact us at artbarlainfo@gmail.com \n\nHours\nMonday & Tuesday: Closed\nWednesday – Thursday: 6:00pm – 11:00pm\nFriday: 6:00pm – 12:00pm\nSaturday: 6:00pm – 1:00pm\nSunday: 2:00pm – 8:00pm \n\n\n\n\n\n  \nFor additional information\, visit the website @ \nhttps://www.artbarla.com/\n \n  \nFind more \n \n \n \n \n \n \n
