SUMMARY:Imperfect Online Concert
DESCRIPTION:Online concert for Seventeen made by Carats\n\n\nLast year May 2020\, Carat World Tour was an event made by Carats to provide a safe and fun environment for all. We raised $2\,000 for the World Health Organization within 24 hours\, and we’re back a year later. \nThis is a five-hour Livestream for Carats to enjoy with each other! the reason it’s called imperfect is because it’s a synonym to Incomplete as you know which was Seventeen’s online concert. It will be held on June 26 at 7 pm EST on twitch. This event has a total of 4 giveaways. The giveaways are photocards (selective)\, a custom heart shaker which is made by one of our staff members\, the Going Seventeen magazine\, and a Seventeen album. You can follow the twitch account\, which is Imperfect_Diamond. For more information\, go to @seungcheol on Twitter. We will be using the hashtag #SVT_IM_PERFECT. \nWe will donate to two charities; more information is coming soon. We’re currently discussing ways we can help and how we can help those abroad. It’s optional to donate\, but the proceeds will go to those organizations chosen. \nWe can’t wait to see you there! When you RSVP\, please take a screenshot and post it on Twitter tagging @seungcheol or using the hashtag #SVT_IM_PERFECT \nDisclaimer: We are in no way working with Pledis Entertainment or Seventeen; this is a fanmade project

SUMMARY:Cars and Coffee Los Angeles
DESCRIPTION:LAST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH- Griffith Park Merry-Go-Round Lot \nCars & Coffee Los Angeles is a Classic Car Show held at the Griffith Park Merry-Go-Round Lot #1\, located at 4730 Crystal Springs Dr\, Los Angeles\, CA 90027. The Griffith Park Merry-Go-Round is a nostalgia-inducing gem that\, much like Disneyland\, is still enjoyed by the young and the young-at-heart decades after its inception. The small carousel\, which is tucked away into a quiet corner of the park\, served as Walt Disney’s inspiration for Disneyland. When his children were young\, Walt\, a Los Feliz denizen\, took them to the merry-go-round on weekends. During one visit\, while sitting on a bench watching his kids circle round and round\, he was inspired to create a large scale gathering site that the whole family could enjoy. His dream was realized on July 17\, 1955\, when Disneyland opened to the public. \n \n  \nClassic Car Show with a little coffee and some amazing automobiles\nLast Sunday of every month\n  \n \nCars & Coffee Los Angeles was founded to bring together like-minded automotive\, photography\, and design enthusiasts. The events are very chill and welcoming to all car sorts. Our core group of regulars is composed of area locals who aren’t shy about sharing the neighborhood’s rich history. As always\, we ask all attending to respect the location and surrounding area from excessive noise. Hope to see you soon. \n  \n \nHours\nLast Sunday of Every Month: 11:00 a.m.-5:00p.m.\n\nFor additional information\, visit the website @ \nhttp://carsandcoffeela.com/\n \n  \nFind more \n \n \n \n \n \n \n

The band was formed in 1981 in Los Angeles by vocalist/guitarist James Hetfield and drummer Lars Ulrich\, and has been based in San Francisco for most of its career. The band’s fast tempos\, instrumentals and aggressive musicianship made them one of the founding “big four” bands of thrash metal\, alongside Megadeth\, Anthrax and Slayer. Metallica’s current lineup comprises founding members and primary songwriters Hetfield and Ulrich\, longtime lead guitarist Kirk Hammett and bassist Robert Trujillo. Guitarist Dave Mustaine (who went on to form Megadeth after being fired from the band) and bassists Ron McGovney\, Cliff Burton (who died in a bus accident in Sweden in 1986) and Jason Newsted are former members of the band. \n  \n \nMetallica earned a growing fan base in the underground music community and won critical acclaim with its first five albums. The band’s third album\, Master of Puppets (1986)\, was described as one of the heaviest and most influential thrash metal albums. Its eponymous fifth album\, Metallica (1991)\, the band’s first to root predominantly in heavy metal\, appealed to a more mainstream audience\, achieving substantial commercial success and selling over 16 million copies in the United States to date\, making it the best-selling album of the SoundScan era. \nMetallica\, like most of the music industry right now\, is off the road. SUMMARY:Graham Garden
DESCRIPTION:OPEN EVERY DAY- DTLA Wells Fargo Center\n \nGraham Garden integrates Fountain Figures I-IV\, a collection of graceful sculptures created by late Los Angeles artist Robert Graham\, in a newly designed outdoor plaza at Halo. For over fifty years\, Robert Graham’s observation of the female form and use of scale allowed him to explore and create a range of intimate sized works and large public monuments\, widely celebrated for their precise iconic detail. \nThe sculptures were originally part of CRA/LA’s mission in 1985 to incorporate public art in redevelopment projects and revitalize Downtown Los Angeles. The four sculptures are currently situated in an exterior landscaped setting that Graham’s son\, Steven Graham\, consulted on as part of the renovation at Wells Fargo Center. \n  \n \nRobert Graham\, was a Mexican born sculptor\, and although you may not be familiar with his name\, you probably ARE familiar with some of his work. Graham’s monumental bronzes commemorate the human figure\, and are featured in 11 public places in and around the city of Angels. Including; The Olympic Gateway at the Memorial Coliseum\, The Torso at Rodeo Drive\, The Great Bronze Doors and Statue of Mary at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels\, and The Dance Door – Los Angeles Music Center \n  \n \nAnd now\, you can see his latest collection. SUMMARY:JULY IS FREE SLURPEE DAY@ 7-11
DESCRIPTION:EXTENDED TO EVERY DAY IN JULY 2021- All Participating 7-11’s\n\n\n\n\n7-Eleven’s Free Slurpee Day is back and better than ever. \nNormally\, the convenience store hands out free Slurpees on its birthday (July 11)\, but this year\, it’s giving shoppers the chance to cash in on the sweet offer at any point during the month of July. \n7-Eleven’s 94th birthday celebration kicks off on July 1\, when the store’s 7Rewards app members will receive one free small Slurpee drink coupon in their account. There are plenty of flavors to choose from\, including the classics and a range of summer specials like VitaminWater Zero Sugar Gutsy (Watermelon Peach)\, Pineapple Whip and Blueberry Lemonade. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhen is Free Slurpee Day this Year?\nNational Free Slurpee Day aways on July 11.  Get it?  7-11\,  7/11/2021 \n  \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHistory of National Free Slurpee Day\n7-Eleven began celebrating the day back in 2002\, but the beloved frozen treat has been around since the late 1950’s. With more than 300 flavors —ranging from sweet (Vanilla\, 7-Elemon)\, to sour (Warhead\, Sour Apple)\, to the exotic (Mango\, Lychee)— there’s a Slurpee for every palette. \n  \n \nThe Slurpee\, created by Omar Knedlik\, was first known by the name ICEE. Like many great inventions\, it was discovered purely on accident. Knedlick got the idea after one of his soda fountains broke down\, forcing him to put his sodas in the freezer to keep cool. The resulting soda slush was a hit with Knedlick’s customers prompting him to create a machine that would freeze carbonated drinks. \nRealizing the success of the ICEE\, 7-Eleven made a licensing deal with Knedlick in 1965 to sell the product under a different name; one that would only be sold in its stores. In 1966\, the Slurpee was officially born. The name was coined by an advertising executive referencing the sound made when drinking it. \nBy the spring of 1967\, every 7-Eleven store in the country had a Slurpee machine. To fuel the rising Slurpee fanfare\, 7-Eleven would introduce eye-catching —if not\, risqué— names for its new flavors. Novelty names like Pink Fink\, Moonshine\, Sticky Icky\, Gully Washer\, and Adults Only were added to the growing list of flavors. \nOn July 11\, 2002\, 7-Eleven celebrated its 75th birthday by giving customers a free Slurpee\, marking the first official National Free Slurpee Day. \nAs the name of the day implies\, you go to a participating 7-Eleven\, between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.\, and receive a free\, 12-ounce Slurpee (while supplies last). Get there early since everyone in the know will undoubtedly want a free Slurpee\, too. We’re not suggesting you camp outside a 7-Eleven\, but do you really want to miss out on a FREE Slurpee? \n\n  \nFor additional information\, visit the website @ \nhttps://www.7-eleven.com/\n \n  \nFind more \n \n \n \n \n \n \n

The land art movement first appeared in the late 1960s and served to challenge the location\, material\, size\, and temporal existence of a work of art. Double Negative consists of two long straight trenches\, 30 feet wide and 50 feet deep\, cut into the “tabletop” of Mormon Mesa\, displacing 240\,000 tons of desert sandstone. SUMMARY:TAKE A STROLL THRU HISTORY
DESCRIPTION:THE HISTORIC VENICE CANALS DISTRICT- in Venice Beach\nThe Venice Canals is a historical district in the Venice section of Los Angeles\, California. Nestled between Abbot Kinney Blvd and the Beach\, this area is the location of the last remaining canals which once were the heart of Venice Beach\, California. \n  \nTo find The Historic Venice Canals District \nStart at the Venice Pier. Walk down Washington Blvd\, 1 block past Pacific to the north side bridge\, just before Baja Cantina. You’l find entrances to the walk paths on both sides of the canal. \n  \nAbbot Kinney\nThe Venice Canals began as a dream of one man\, tobacco millionaire\, Abbot Kinney. Kinney had done a walking tour of Italy and was absolutely overcome by the beauty of the canals of Venice. That experience lead Kinney to the grand idea\, to take part of the Coastal Wetlands of Los Angeles\, and turn them  into what he called “Venice of America\,” a luxurious seaside resort that brought a taste of Italy to L. A. \n  \n \nIn 1905 the canals opened to the public and at first\, these canals were all the rage\, a cultural mecca and massive playground complete Amusements\, train rides and every kind of distraction. Beautiful walkways were lined with flowers. Gondoliers took lovers on romantic adventures through the canals and beneath the  beautifully lit bridges. But invention of the automobile\, and the discovery of oil along the coast\, quickly led the City of Los Angeles to fill in most of the canals and build city streets. Although a few of the canals were spared\, Abbot Kinney’s dream soon deteriorated and began attracting crime. \n  \n \nFinally\, after more than 40 years of unsavory residents\, and environmental concerns\, in 1992\, the City restored the canals to their original spender\, and since\, Venice has  become a safe haven of artists of all kinds and everyone and anyone was welcome\, Anyone who could afford it\, that is.   Average home sales are now in the 3-10 million dollar range. \nAlthough\, much of Venice is gone\, much still remains. You just need to know where to look. \nFor additional information\, visit the website @ \nvisitveniceca.com\n \n  \nFind more \n \n \n \n \n \n \n  \n
