In partnership with the First Partner’s Office and the California State Library\, State Parks are providing free vehicle day-use entry to over 200 participating state park units operated by State Parks for check out to library-card holders. The California State Library Parks Pass is valid for entry of one passenger vehicle with capacity of nine people or less or one highway licensed motorcycle. \n\n\n\n  \n  \n\n\n\nWho?\nCalifornia public library-card holders can check out the State Library Parks Pass via their local public library. If you don’t have a library card\, visit your local library to get one. The library card and park pass are free! \n\n\n  \n \n\n\nHow?\nEach library location will receive passes\, including mobile libraries\, for checkout by library patrons. Library patrons will be able to check out the pass for the allotted number of days allowed by the local library. Check with your library for guidelines and policies for returning your pass. Chace Park is a stunning destination in the Marina. Jutting out into the main channel\, it offers one of the best viewing areas of the harbor with water views on three sides. Hit the flat\, paved walking path along the perimeter a morning walk\, or relax on a bench to watch the sunset. The park is wheelchair and stroller accessible. \n \nVIRTUAL TOUR\n \nCovered picnic pavilions and a smattering of uncovered tables\, all with barbecue access\, make for a great family gathering. Picnic Pavilion A and an indoor multipurpose room are available to reserve by calling the park office at 424-526-7903. All other tables are first come\, first served. Gatherings of 50 people or more need to contact the park office for an event permit. \n \nBurton Chace Park is the site of many community events and festivals\, including the Old Fashioned Day in May\, the Summer Concert Series in July and August\, Marina Spooktacular in October\, and Marina Lights in December. If any symptoms are present\,\nyou may not enter the facility.\nThough there is not a mask mandate for the outdoor areas of the garden\, there is one for entering buildings (including restrooms) on City property.\nMaintain social distancing of 6 ft. from non-household members while on City property.\n\nPlease note that in case of significant rain within 24 hours of your scheduled visit time The Garden will be closed.\nYou should email the “contact the event organizer” link the day of your visit if rain occurs to verify.\nIn addition\, all regular Garden visiting rules (see “Garden Etiquette”) apply during your time slot. The Forest Lawn Museum first opened in 1952 and is located adjacent to the Hall of Crucifixion-Resurrection at Forest Lawn – Glendale.  Forest Lawn’s founder\, Dr. Hubert Eaton\, wrote in his Builder’s Creed that our park should be “a place where artists study and sketch; where school teachers bring happy children to see the things they read of in books.” In that spirit\, the Forest Lawn Museum displays a permanent collection\, as well as world-class rotating exhibits. With engaging special exhibits and free educational and artistic activities\, there is always something new to experience. \n \nForest Lawn Museum is located within Forest Lawn-Glendale (1712 S. Glendale Ave\, Glendale\, CA 91205). Enter the main gate on Glendale Ave and follow signs to the top of the hill. Chace Park is a stunning destination in the Marina. Jutting out into the main channel\, it offers one of the best viewing areas of the harbor with water views on three sides. Hit the flat\, paved walking path along the perimeter a morning walk\, or relax on a bench to watch the sunset. The park is wheelchair and stroller accessible. \n \nVIRTUAL TOUR\n \nCovered picnic pavilions and a smattering of uncovered tables\, all with barbecue access\, make for a great family gathering. Picnic Pavilion A and an indoor multipurpose room are available to reserve by calling the park office at 424-526-7903. All other tables are first come\, first served. The California State Library Parks Pass is valid for entry of one passenger vehicle with capacity of nine people or less or one highway licensed motorcycle. \n\n\n\n  \n  \n\n\n\nWho?\nCalifornia public library-card holders can check out the State Library Parks Pass via their local public library. If you don’t have a library card\, visit your local library to get one. The library card and park pass are free! \n\n\n  \n \n\n\nHow?\nEach library location will receive passes\, including mobile libraries\, for checkout by library patrons. Library patrons will be able to check out the pass for the allotted number of days allowed by the local library. Check with your library for guidelines and policies for returning your pass. If any symptoms are present\,\nyou may not enter the facility.\nThough there is not a mask mandate for the outdoor areas of the garden\, there is one for entering buildings (including restrooms) on City property.\nMaintain social distancing of 6 ft. from non-household members while on City property.\n\nPlease note that in case of significant rain within 24 hours of your scheduled visit time The Garden will be closed.\nYou should email the “contact the event organizer” link the day of your visit if rain occurs to verify.\nIn addition\, all regular Garden visiting rules (see “Garden Etiquette”) apply during your time slot. The Forest Lawn Museum first opened in 1952 and is located adjacent to the Hall of Crucifixion-Resurrection at Forest Lawn – Glendale.  Forest Lawn’s founder\, Dr. Hubert Eaton\, wrote in his Builder’s Creed that our park should be “a place where artists study and sketch; where school teachers bring happy children to see the things they read of in books.” In that spirit\, the Forest Lawn Museum displays a permanent collection\, as well as world-class rotating exhibits. With engaging special exhibits and free educational and artistic activities\, there is always something new to experience. \n \nForest Lawn Museum is located within Forest Lawn-Glendale (1712 S. Glendale Ave\, Glendale\, CA 91205). Enter the main gate on Glendale Ave and follow signs to the top of the hill.
