Five years in the making and occupying an 8\,000-square-foot gallery\, Noah’s Ark at the Skirball welcomes children and families to take this journey together. \nInspired by the ancient flood story\, which has parallels in diverse cultures around the world\, this one-of-a-kind new destination invites visitors of all generations to have fun—and to connect with one another\, learn the value of community\, and help build a better world. \nConduct a storm\, help construct the Ark\, and bask in the glow of a beautiful rainbow. Mingle with hundreds of fancifully handcrafted animals—from cuddly companions to life-sized puppets—all crafted from recycled materials and everyday objects\, including bottle caps\, bicycle parts\, baseball mitts\, croquet balls\, mop heads\, and rearview mirrors. \nUnique to the Noah’s Ark experience are impromptu “happenings\,” surprise interactions\, and drop-in activities. Check out the schedule of planned activities here. \n  \nThe Skirball Center’s Ticketing Tips and Guidelines\nNoah’s Ark tickets on FREE Thursdays are first-come\, first-served only\, subject to availability (no advance tickets)\, including for Members\, with a limit of ten tickets distributed per party. FREE Thursday tickets are available at the admissions desk starting at 11:45 am. \nToddler ticket policy: There is no need to reserve advance Noah’s Ark tickets for children under 2. Tickets for your toddlers will be distributed at the admissions desk when you claim the rest of your party’s advance tickets. \nChildren must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The minimum adult/child ratio is 1/4. This policy will be enforced at the admissions desk when you claim your timed-entry tickets. Adults are 18 and up. \nPrepare for your visit to The Skirball Center by downloading our mobile app—An Ark for All\, developed specially for families with developmental disabilities and young children. WE HAVE CARS. LOTS OF THEM. 130+ Vintage\, Antique and Muscle Cars \nWe use our collection to present educational opportunities\, new age engineering and cultural evolution of the automobile. \n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis museum is a great place to bring a group of kids for an afternoon of fun and education.\nWe welcome visits from summer camps\, church groups and schools to offer them STEM projects and fun activities. Call ahead and we will arrange to have a docent on hand to give an informative tour of the museum’s car collection. We have an activity room that can host a group of 25-45 kids plus adults with tables for arts and crafts.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAutomobile Driving Museum’s SUNDAY CAR RIDES\nSundays 10:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.\nSubject to availability. \nPlease call the museum the Thursday before to get the Ride List! \nSunday rides do not need a reservation.
