Founded in 1994\, The Petersen was originally located within the Natural History Museum\, and later moved to a historic department store Los Angeles. In 2015\, the museum underwent an extensive renovation where the iconic ‘red and silver’ façade made of stainless steel ribbons was added. \n \n  \nThe museum was The museum encompasses over 250 vehicles from six different regions across the world. The vehicles in the exhibition have over 120 years of history and provide a great experience in to the automobile history.
