DESCRIPTION:EVERY THURSDAY NIGHT- Culver City\nJoin the LA Skate Hunnies for a beginner-friendly road skate that starts and ends at Ivy Station\, with an afterparty at LA Ale Works! \n\n\nJoin the LA Skate Hunnies for their first Thursday Night Skate\, right here at Ivy Station. Each night the group chooses a new theme\, this week’s is Prom! Come dressed to impress in formal attire. Theme is encouraged\, but not required. Meet on the main plaza\, near the elevators by the Great Lawn. \nFirst Thursday Night Skate is a community meetup for primarily roller skaters and rollerbladers\, but all wheels are welcome\, and you’ll often see cyclists and skateboarders join in on the fun! Participants will meet at Ivy Station to go out on a group ride around Culver City. The group passes through some of Culver City’s most iconic landmarks\, with lots of stops to dance\, rest\, or do whatever you’d like! The group will meet at LA Ale Works when the group ride ends around 9:30pm\, and stay until close at 11:00pm. \nThis Skate Night is beginner friendly\, but participants are expected to have control when skating and have basic skills to navigate road skating in a large group. Our focus is to give kids a strong foundation\, not only in basketball skills and broadly based health and fitness\, but also global awareness and responsibility. \nAt no cost to the children or their families\, KVBL kids are exposed to the following: Yoga instruction from world-renowned Yoga masters; basketball lessons with some of the League’s premier players and other celebrities; fitness facts and training from Vegan nutrition professionals.
