SUMMARY:Century City Artisans Market
DESCRIPTION:EVERY SUNDAY – Los Angeles\nCentury City Artisans Market is an upscale outdoor pop-up market. Conveniently located in Westfield mall Century City\, offering a mix of authentic\, hand-made\, one-of-a-kind\, products such as Bath & Body\, Home Decor\, vintage\, Pet supplies\, and artifacts crafted by local talented and creative craftsmen. The market features a variety of over 60 amazing vendors. \nEMPOWERING BOUTIQUE BUSINESSES\nOur Secret Sauce\nWe believe in the power of community\, supporting independent local brands\, and amazing experiences for everyone! \nFree Admission\n \nOpen for all\, there is no cost to enter the Century City Artisans Market! \nFamily Friendly\n \nSundays are for families. Bring your kids\, cousins\, and grandparents – all are invited! \nDog Friendly\n \n2-legged or 4-legged\, all are welcome at the Century City Artisans Market! \nSELL WITH US!\n\n\nWestfield Century City\, 10250 Santa Monica Blvd\, Los Angeles\, CA 90067 \n\n\n\n\n\n\nIf ever a business had a story to tell\, The Century City Artisans Market is it. Our story is one of ingenuity\, personal redemption\, and a passion for giving back. Sam Douek struggled in school for most of his formative years. He had a difficult time focusing in the classroom\, which left him with low self-esteem. After leaving his high school at the end of ninth grade\, ready to give up\, Sam got a fresh start at the Jewish Educational Trade School\, otherwise known as JETS. At JETS\, the primary focus is to develop each boy’s marketable skills\, with an emphasis on entrepreneurialism and vocation\, resulting in the development of self-esteem and the inherent self-worth of every individual. \nToday the market has expanded to locations in Seattle and Hartford\, with additional locations opening in Chicago\, Santa Barbara\, and San Diego! Sam’s life’s mission is fulfilled each time the Market operates. He is thrilled at the opportunity to give small business owners the ability to provide for their families while doing the work they love. And he is so gratified to be able to give back to JETS by teaching and mentoring their students. In Sam’s words\, “I want people to have fun\, and when it benefits so many\, there’s an added dimension of pleasure and wonder!” \nMission Statement\nOur mission is simple! \nWe want small business owners to succeed! Our greatest joy is when our vendors sell out of the wares they bring. This means they can support their families and create more wonderful products to share. \nOur market is a happy place! There’s a feeling of caring\, sharing\, and giving. We regularly host animal shelters looking for pet adoptions\, and host giveaways for the homeless and needy. \nWe seek to serve local communities by ensuring our markets are sustainable. Health insurance providers\, loan officers\, general bankers\, and others are invited to share resources of information pertaining to home loans\, health insurance coverage\, and whichever information may be of significant assistance to our patrons. \nOur market-goers appreciate the valuable products we bring together and share in our mission of supporting small businesses and local communities. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \nFor additional information\, visit the website @ \nccartisansmarket.com\n \n  \nFind more \n \n \n \n \n \n \n

Beautiful lanterns from the Korean province of Jinju welcome over 500 vendors and 400\,000 shoppers at a festival that is nothing short of amazing. Charmingly made booths that consist of automobiles\, cosmetics\, casinos\, and many more local vendors participate to market their brand and sell their exclusive products. The newly organized KTEx will allow shoppers to see products firsthand from Korea without the struggle of depending on family and friends to ship them over from Korea. \n  \nFESTIVAL OF PERFORMANCE\n \nOn a glamorous stage in the heart of the festival\, Korean traditional cultural performances\, Korean celebrity shows\, and a variety of fun programs will be presented. In Los Angeles\, the Korean Festival pursues both following new trends and keeping the tradition alive at the same time\, this aspect of the festival draws a diverse crowd of both ages and ethnicity while the makeup of the stage brings pleasure to all of the audience during the festival. Through the power of Hallyu\, we hope that LAKF attendees can now enjoy the festivities and performances that are spreading from Korea to the world. We plan on creating an enjoyable and memorable time for everyone to come and enjoy the renowned performances on our fabulous stage! \n  \nFESTIVAL OF EXPERIENCE\n \nKorea’s representative traditional beauty attire is the HANBOK. Wear it and make composite images amongst the backdrop of breathtaking Korean structures and views. Share these amazing moments and experiences with the people you treasure the most. Further\, come and learn how to make a Korean lotus flower\, craft a turtle ship\, play traditional Korean games\, and much more. Through these fun-filled activities\, you can experience an extraordinary Korean cultural life. We will also provide a Korean traditional festival as an amusement. You will be able to play and sing traditional songs with a large gong [Jing]\, a small gong [Kkwaenggwari]\, a middle waist drum [Janggu]\, and a small handle drum [Sogo]\, and many more Korean instruments to teach you about ancient Korean ancestor spirits. In addition\, we will provide a variety of Korean cultures and customs to allow foreigners who come to create meaningful and exciting memories. \nLos Angeles Korean Parade\n \nSponsored by The Korea Times (Los Angeles)\, the annual Korean Parade on Olympic Boulevard has become one of the best features that the festival offers. Ornate floats from corporate sponsors\, performers\, and Koreatown’s notable figures\, parade down the street as crowds of all ages gather. \n  \n\n \n965 S. Normandie Ave.\, #102\, Los Angeles\, CA 90006 \nIn 1974\, the Los Angeles Korean Festival Foundation was founded by the leaders of the early Korean-American community with the purpose of preserving their Korean roots after immigrating to the United States. In the great city of Los Angeles\, where many diverse cultures co-exist\, the Los Angeles Korean Festival Foundation is considered one of the major advocates of furthering the knowledge of Korean culture and its traditions.
