Celebrate Dr. King’s Legacy by Giving Back at the City of West Hollywood’s MLK Day Beautification Day! Roll up your sleeves and let your heart shine! This Saturday, January 15th, 2024, join the City of West Hollywood for a special MLK Day Beautification Day at West Hollywood Elementary School, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. It’s a chance to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy of service and make a real difference in your community.

What Can You Do
No experience necessary! Volunteers will be involved in various beautification projects, including:
- Landscaping: Planting new flowers, weeding, and spreading mulch.
- Cleaning: Picking up litter, washing windows, and giving the school a fresh shine.
- Painting: Adding vibrant touches to walls, benches, or other outdoor elements.

Just visit the City of West Hollywood Volunteer Page at https://volunteer.weho.org/: https://volunteer.weho.org/ (Click “Community Service” then “City of West Hollywood Events”) and sign up for the “MLK Day of Service Beautification Day.” Don’t forget to wear comfortable clothing and shoes you can get a little dirty in!
