Tiny Porch Concerts presents the 2022 Summer Concert Series! Listen to Taylor Ashton with the Dales and enjoy some drinks this Sunday at Peter Strauss Ranch. The music starts at 5:00 pm.

VIP Beer, Wine, and Cheese Reception start at 4:00 pm.

Taylor Ashton Taylor Ashton was raised by his father in Vancouver, Canada. He now lives in Brooklyn, where he wakes up around 8 a.m. and begins his day by playing Bananagrams with his wife. He doodles constantly, on iPads and napkins. He buys all his clothes second-hand, and he once sewed the top of socks onto the sleeves of a jacket that was too short for him. And now, he’s bringing that creativity and ingenuity to his first ever solo album, The Romantic.

Taylor’s career began in Vancouver as frontman and songwriter for Fish & Bird. The Vancouver Folk Fest called them “Canada’s most unique folk-rock ensemble”, with reviewers taking note of Taylor’s “off-kilter lyrical excursions” (The Georgia Straight) and his “rich, compelling voice” (Exclaim!). From 2006 to 2014 they recorded 4 albums and exhaustively made the rounds of the festival and touring circuit of Canada, the U.S., and the UK.

The Dales The Dales are a band carried by three-part harmonies and a deep appreciation for classic songwriting. They are a genre twist between Americana and vintage rock.

Drew Lawrence, a multi-platinum songwriter, (Christina Perri – Jar of Hearts) teamed up with a long-time musical partner and guitarist Preston Pope to form The Dales. With the 2019 introduction of singer/songwriter Jacqueline Tozzi, The Dales found the missing piece in their creative harmony.

January 2020 The Dales released “Easy Times” an EP that is charting both on triple-A and Americana radio. Media play soon followed with features on NPR’s World Café and Acoustic Café as well as TV interviews on NBC and ABC. “The title track “Easy Times” is a tremendous follow up from their year-old debut LP and has a late 70’s and early 80’s vibe that is both uplifting and Classic.” American Songwriter Magazine

Our last full season, 2019, seems so far away. We have kept the spirit alive by hosting live streams, playing in our living rooms, listening to music from some of our favorites and discovering amazing new artists. Now it’s time for us to enjoy live music again right here in the Santa Monica Mountains. We couldn’t be more excited to announce our return to Peter Strauss Ranch! Tiny Porch Concerts was able to raise the funds through our sponsors and VIP donors to rebuild the stage which was lost to the Woolsey Fire in November 2018. Saturday, June 5th 2022 will mark our return to Peter Strauss Ranch at 30000 Mulholland Hwy, Agoura Hills, CA 91301. Make sure you are on our email list to get updated information of other Tiny Porch happenings. We could not be more excited about the 2022 season. Artists are coming from Nashville, San Francisco, San Luis Obispo, and of course Los Angeles. We want to send out a huge THANK YOU to our sponsors and VIP donors! You bring this series alive!
