Founded in 1904, we’re just a year away from celebrating 120 years of growth! Established by Altadena resident W. Scott Way, who was determined to protect mourning doves from reckless hunting and sale in markets, Pasadena Audubon Society has been dedicated to bringing the excitement of birds to our community through birding, education, and the conservation of bird habitats.
We’ve seen remarkable growth, with a 70% increase in membership in the past two years, all thanks to our community’s support. We have been offering a wider range of birding classes, field trips, Bird Science courses, and outreach programs. We’re extremely thrilled to share that Pasadena Audubon Society is finally nesting!
Our goal is to raise $25,000 to support our growth and help feather our new nest during this fund drive. To cap it off, we’re inviting all community members to the Open House to enjoy the space and meet our staff, Board Members, volunteers, friends, and partners.
Join us in celebrating this milestone as we build our nest to continue making a positive impact in our communities!
