The Marina del Rey WaterBus, returns June 17th through September 5th. Get where you need to go or just cruise around the Marina Harbor on the The Marina del Rey WaterBus.

You can purchase your ticket from the dock attendants stationed at each WaterBus stop. These attendants can also assist with any questions on WaterBus service and provide additional information on a wide range of activities in Marina del Rey.

Fridays: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Saturdays: 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Sundays: 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm

4th of July: 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm

The WaterBus operates non-stop while underway. Due to this, there are no set scheduled boarding times at each individual stop. Dock attendants at each dock location can provide estimates on arrival of the next available WaterBus.

Ticket Info

Tickets are available at each dock location only. The ticket price is $1.00 for passage one way. Tickets may be purchased by CASH ONLY. Season passes are also available for $30.00 per pass and are available for sale at any of the stops. All season passes are non-transferable and photo identification will be required for use. All ticket sales and season pass sales are final and non-refundable.

To accommodate our disabled community, ADA accessible ramps are located at Burton Chace Park, Wetlands Park, Del Rey Landing, Marina “Mother’s” Beach, Dolphin Marina, and Esprit 1. WaterBus attendants will arrange for land taxi service for passengers needing special assistance to any WaterBus boarding stop for the $1.00 fare.

Is the Marina Waterbus Open?

  • Yes! The Marina Waterbus is resuming service from June 18th through September 6th, 2021 with enhanced safety and boarding protocols in line with our  SafeCruise program.

 

What is SafeCruise?

  • Our renewed SafeCruise program is our commitment to guest and employee safety onboard. This includes increased social distancing guidelines as well as other on board measures to ensure the safety of all guests and crew while cruising.

 

Are there boarding changes due to Covid-19?

  • Yes – masks are required for all guests and crew.
  • Social distancing regulations apply in lines and while onboard.

 

What do I need to know to have a safe WaterBus ride?

  • Please listen to the WaterBus Dock Attendant and WaterBus Captain and follow all instructions given. (These are for your safety and the safety of your fellow WaterBus guests).
  • Riders must be seated at all times while the WaterBus is underway.
  • No running is ever permitted on the docks.
  • Make sure to watch your step at all times when on the docks and aboard the WaterBus.
