The Girls’ Fire Camp is a one-day program for candidates between the ages of 10-18 and is open to everyone!
The Girls’ Fire Camp introduces interested youth to various career opportunities available in the Fire Department and allows candidates a chance to learn basic firefighting skills by gaining valuable hands-on experience from professional LACoFD firefighters, dispatchers, lifeguards, and other Department team members.
The attendees will participate in a light workout, so please arrive well rested, hydrated and dressed to exercise (e.g., shorts or sweatpants, athletic shoes, hair pulled back into ponytail or bun). An event t-shirt will be provided.
All participants are encouraged to bring their own snack, lunch, water bottle, and sunscreen.
The doors will open at 7:30 A.M. for registration.
Be ready to have a great time and learn all about being a firefighter!
Youth must have a parent or legal guardian present at registration to fill out required paperwork.
