Kids: Canvas Color Jam

Artist Georgina Reskala & her young assistants invite kids and their families to explore their creativity on large communal blank canvases.

It is through the art of creation that young people find the strength and confidence to tell their stories. Making your mark on a surface is already a healing process, but to do it in community with other kids and adults doubles the mental health benefits.

Bring your kids and their friends to the Annenberg Community Beach House and join artist Georgina Reskala and her young assistants as they offer large communal blank canvases for kids to explore their creativity. Something about the act of being free on the fabric encourages kids to tell stories and express themselves and their feelings through art in a safe environment. No experience necessary. All Ages. This is a FREE event. All are welcome.

This event is brought to you by Santa Monica Cultural Affairs as part of Day of Art and Well-Being at the Annenberg Community Beach House. More info about the Day of Art and Well-Being >>

Tickets are free but reservations are required. Please arrive 15 min before start time to retain your reservation.
