Americans of Japanese Ancestry

The Japanese American Museum was established in Los Angeles to preserve the rich heritage Asian culture. The gallery is dedicated to preserving the history and culture. It is located in the Little Tokyo area near downtown Los Angeles, California.

We believe in the importance of remembering our history, to better guard against the prejudice that threatens liberty and equality in a democratic society. We strive as a world-class institution to provide a voice and forum that enables all people to explore their own heritage and culture.
