Join Culver City for the official opening ceremony to begin Fiesta La Ballona 2022! Festivities start on August 26! Fiesta weekend offers carnival rides and games, live performances, a beer and wine garden, food trucks, a food court, and various booths spotlighting artisan wares and local organizations.

Jazz Hands for Autism featuring DJ Bigg Plush

Friday, August 26, 2022 – 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm

By bringing his swag and rhythmic beats to the party, DJ Bigg Plush will rock any event with the heart of LA’s music Pop and R&B hits.

U.S. 99 Band

Friday, August 26, 2022 – 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm

“U.S. 99” is a nationally experienced professional cover band. In presenting a dynamic, entertaining show, “U.S.99” is adept at engaging the audience in the performance. “U.S. 99” members are nationally and internationally touring musicians, who have recorded or performed with such notable entertainers and bands as James Brown, Freddie Fender, Guitar Shorty, The Blasters, Brian Setzer, Chambers Brothers, Mavis Staples, and Canned Heat, among others.

Fiesta La Ballona carnival ride wristbands are available for pre-sale! The pre-sale price is $35.00 each. Wristbands are good for an unlimited ride on either:

Saturday 8/27 from 10:00 am – 10:00 pm
Sunday, 8/28 from 10:00 am – 9:00 pm

In 1951, Fiesta La Ballona was born of a partnership between the City of Culver City and the Culver City Chamber of Commerce. It was designed as a weeklong celebration of Culver City’s early heritage. There was something for everyone, from young to old, from swimmers to dancers, from descendants to recent arrivals.

Over time, the August weeklong event changed to fit the times. It has been celebrated in May, and became a “Festival of the People”, but no matter what month, or how many days the event, it remains a time to relax together, and enjoy family, friends, and community.
