Pershing Square is hosting not one, but two paw-fect events all about our furry friends, DOGS! We’d love for you to join us!
A howling good time for your Downtown LA dog!
Pose for the cameras at our special pup photo booth, check-in and get paws-itively awesome freebies like bandanas and tote bags for all your swag, meet the various pet-related businesses in Downtown, make new pup friends, and dance the night away to a DJ. On Saturday, get your daily walk in with pack walks every hour!
What to Expect:
June 16th from 4pm-8pm will consist of a party in Pershing Square with a DJ, fun photo ops, food trucks and some awesome local businesses! We want this to be an opportunity for our community of business owners, office workers and residents of DTLA to come together and connect with one another through the celebration of our beloved dogs.
June 17th from 10am-2pm will consist of a “Dog Walk”, where we will host routed walks around the park and surrounding area every hour allowing dogs and their owners some fresh air and wellness while meeting their neighbors. The check-in and end of the route will be at Pershing Square, where dog owners and community members can mingle and discover their new fave pet business in DTLA.

PERSHING SQUARE

Pershing Square is operated by the Department of Recreation and Parks and is located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles at 532 s. Olive St. The square is a public place that allows community members and visitors to sit, talk, meet up, and relax in the middle of the town. The square is made up of hardscapes and grass areas that offer an area for concerts, gatherings, political rallies, and public celebrations. Pershing Square is decorated with fountains, monuments, statues, a large seating platform, two children’s playgrounds, a chess area, a pet area, and an open elevated myan–style amphitheater. The venue is surrounded by hotels, restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and local businesses.
