Get ready to groove and swing to the smooth sounds of jazz at the 28th Annual Central Avenue Jazz Festival on September 23rd, 2023!

Join us back on “The Avenue” for the 28th Annual Central Avenue Jazz Festival.
Our free family-friendly festival brings together the entire Los Angeles community to celebrate jazz greats such as Gerald Wilson, Ernie Andrews, Billie Holiday, Charles Mingus and Dexter Gordon, while putting a spotlight on the younger emerging artists that are continuing this rich art form.

When: Sat. September 23, 2023 from 11am – 7pm

Where: Central Avenue between Vernon Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard

Jazz and Blues performances will be featured on 2 Main Stages, in addition to the historic Dunbar Hotel.

*Artwork from world renowned local artists featured in the Art Pavilion
*A variety of free health care screenings and other services at our Health & Wellness Pavilion
*Children are invited to enjoy games, arts & crafts and educational programs in our Youth Pavilion
