SATURDAY – Annenberg Beach House
SAIL, ROW, PADDLE OR SINK YOUR WAY INTO SUMMER! Be a part of the 11th Annual Cardboard Yacht Regatta here at Annenberg Community Beach House this June 17!
Come join the excitement and witness the incredible ingenuity of the participants at the 11th Annual Cardboard Yacht Regatta, taking place at the picturesque Annenberg Community Beach House on June 17, 2023. This highly anticipated event promises a day filled with laughter, creativity, and thrilling cardboard boat races.

This thrilling competition invites you to build your own cardboard yacht and put it to the test in a race across the Beach House Pool. It’s time to unleash your creativity, gather some corrugated cardboard and duct tape, and embark on an adventure like no other.
During the race, teams of two will navigate their human-powered cardboard yachts, leaving no room for motors or external assistance. It’s a true test of strength, teamwork, and ingenuity as you paddle your way to victory. The goal is to reach the other side of the pool, so brace yourself for a fun and challenging competition.

While the race is undoubtedly the highlight of the event, the Cardboard Yacht Regatta also celebrates the imaginative designs and themes participants bring to their creations. Awards will be presented in various categories, including “Most Likely to Sink,” “Best Use of Theme,” and “Most Spirited.” So let your imagination run wild as you decorate your cardboard yacht, making it a reflection of your unique style and vision.
