3RD SATURDAY Reseda Church of Christ

Black In The Valley Marketplace is a unique shopping experience, highlighting the best of black owned businesses in the San Fernando Valley. Sponsored by Black In The Valley and Zawadi Cultural Collective, this event is held every third Saturday during the months of March, June, September and December. Black In The Valley Marketplace will feature some of the finest jewelry, clothing, food, arts and crafts in the city of Los Angeles.

To register your business for the marketplace, simply complete the form below. Your registration will give you access to over 3,000 potential clients and customers.

Registration closes one week prior to the event (12/12/20).
You must be a self contained unit. Bring everything for your set up.
Early Registration is $35.00 and $60.00 after November 1, 2020. Final payments due by December 15, 2020.
Payments accepted via Venmo @zawadicultural or Cash App $ZawadiCultural.

Black In The Valley

serves as a resource hub for Black businesses, cultural events and general information for the Black community in the San Fernando Valley. California has the 5th largest economy in the world. Surpassing France, Italy and the UK. The San Fernando Valley is home to 1.8 million people with 4 percent of its make up being black. This equates to a tremendous amount of black buying power located in the San Fernando Valley. Many of its black residents are spread around with a large concentration in Woodland Hills. However finding black owned and operated businesses can be complicated. There was a need to find these businesses and make them known to the public.

Thereby the creation of Black In The Valley. Started as a Facebook group, Black In The Valley serves as a resource hub for black business, events and general information for the black community in the San Fernando Valley. Our directory will give you a comprehensive look at black owned businesses offered in the Valley. Founded during the pandemic of 2020, Black In The Valley is the perfect vehicle for support during these demanding times. Whether it be promotion of an event, business or social engagement, Black In The Valley is the hub for you.
