The Ramona Museum of California History is a remarkable community museum dedicated to preserving the history of California. Admission is free, making it an accessible destination for all visitors. The museum offers a fascinating and personal glimpse into the early history of California, with many exhibits featuring artifacts generously donated by members dating back to 1887.

Visitors can explore a range of exhibits and displays, including a detailed timeline of California’s rich history, featuring key events, milestones, and cultural contributions. Additionally, the museum houses a vast collection of rare and significant artifacts that highlight the state’s diverse history, from Native American artifacts to early Spanish colonial artifacts and beyond.

Ramona Parlor #​109

Ramona Parlor #109 is one of hundreds of parlors throughout the state of California. It is a lively group that meets once a month on the second Thursday in the Ramona Meeting Room behind the Museum on Mission Drive. Ramona Parlor is the only one that owns and operates its California history museum.  The Ramona Museum of California History is in the heart of the San Gabriel Mission District and is open every Saturday from 1-3 pm.  Tours may be arranged by appointment.

Ramona Parlor hosts many events throughout the year.  An Annual Cleft palate Golf Tournament, a Casino Turnaround, A Day at the Races, and historical outings and dedications are just some of the activities held throughout the year.

If you answered yes to both of the above questions, then you are eligible to join the Native Sons of the Golden West!
