Marina del Rey’s free MARINA MOVIE NIGHTS are back! Summertime in L.A.’s Marina means gathering your friends for a picnic and watching movies on the big screen under the stars. The Los Angeles County Department of Beaches & Harbors presents Marina Del Rey Movie Nights in Burton Chace Park! Movies start at 8 p.m. but arrive by 7 to pick out your spot on the lawn. Free admission! In addition to a picnic dinner, bring a blanket or some low-profile beach chairs and enjoy this popular event series. The 10-acre park is surrounded on three sides by the water, so come early for picture taking and to stroll the perimeter walking path.
Pack your picnic baskets and bring the family to Burton Chace Park on Saturday nights to enjoy our free outdoor movie screenings – by the water and under the stars!
All movies start at 8:00 pm. Be sure to bundle up!
SEATING: Seating is festival-style, available on a first-come, first-served basis. There is absolutely no reserved seating for the public.
PARKING: Closest parking is located at Marina Parking Lots #77, #4 and #5.

When a tornado rips through Kansas, Dorothy (Judy Garland) and her dog, Toto, are whisked away in their house to the magical land of Oz. They follow the Yellow Brick Road toward the Emerald City to meet the Wizard, and en route, they meet a Scarecrow (Ray Bolger) that needs a brain, a Tin Man (Jack Haley) missing a heart, and a Cowardly Lion (Bert Lahr) who wants courage. The wizard asks the group to bring him the broom of the Wicked Witch of the West (Margaret Hamilton) to earn his help.
